Job summary

UAHSF in Birmingham, Alabama is hiring an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support the Trauma Burn ICU and Neurological ICU. This full-time role requires 14-16, 12-hour shifts monthly, including weekends and holidays, providing comprehensive care for critically injured patients.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Experience in trauma and emergency care preferred.
• Ability to work 14-16 shifts per month, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care within established scope under a collaborating physician.
• Formulate and implement patient care plans based on assessments.
• Coordinate specialty referrals and patient education as needed.
