Job summary

TouchPoint at Ascension St Vincent’s in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Trauma/Burn ICU Dietitian to join a 500+ bed Level 1 Trauma Center. Monday–Friday schedule with rotating weekends, providing Medical Nutrition Therapy and education in a high-acuity ICU setting.

The role requires an RDN (or eligibility) and CNSC certification or willingness to obtain, with relocation assistance and a $2,500 sign-on bonus to support your transition.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or eligible
• Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice
• Two years of work experience in specialty preferred
• CNSC certification or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Assess and develop care plans for trauma ICU and burn patients
• Education: Provide nutrition guidance to patients, families, and staff
• Evidence-Based Practice: Align care with latest research and facility protocols
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives
• Collaboration: Partner with food service management to meet patient needs
• Mentorship: Support dietetic interns and staff training

Job Summary

Make a real impact as a Clinical Dietitian! You’ll provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education for patients in a specialty area, working with a collaborative team to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

What You’ll Do

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes


• Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community


• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
