Qualifications

• Current license/authority to practice as an APRN in Ohio.
• Graduate of an NP program qualifying to sit for certification exam recognized by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Master of Science Degree in Nursing.
• 0 years of relevant experience required.
• Acute Care NP preferred.
• 0-2 years of trauma or critical care experience preferred.
• Or Master’s prepared; Graduate of PA-C program qualifying to sit for NCCPA exam.
• Eligibility for State of Ohio licensure as a PA-C.
• 0 years of relevant experience required.
• 0-2 years of trauma or critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation and management of trauma patients in the emergency department and inpatient setting.
• Daily inpatient rounding and care coordination.
• Discharge planning and collaboration with trauma surgeons, residents, and ancillary services.
• Performing procedures consistent with trauma care and credentialing.
• Participating in trauma activations, consults, and multidisciplinary rounds.
• Contributing to patient care and team operations within an academic medical center.

Master of Science Degree in Nursing

Nurse Practitioner program qualifying to sit for national certifying exam

Graduate of PA-C program qualifying to sit for NCCPA exam
