Job summary

The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) Department of Anesthesiology seeks BE/BC Trauma Anesthesiologists to join the Division of Trauma Anesthesiology. Expected rank: Assistant Professor or higher, with rank and tenure status commensurate with qualifications.

Responsibilities include clinical care and teaching of fellows, residents, medical students, student nurse anesthetists, and paramedics at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• Must be board-eligible/board-certified.
• Doctorate or recognized terminal degree in the field of specialization.
• Demonstrated a degree of excellence experience in teaching, clinical or professional practice in a field of specialization establish an outstanding regional and national reputation among colleagues.
• Appointees shall also have demonstrated extraordinary scholarly competence and leadership in the profession.
• Unrestricted license in the State of Maryland.
