Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA is seeking a part-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Trauma Acute Care Surgery team. The role focuses on responding to traumas, rounding on trauma, general surgery and SICU patients, and collaborating with surgery residents.

Certified Acute Care NP or PA is required; ICU/inpatient and surgical ICU experience preferred. For new graduates, completion of acute care training and rotations in critical care and surgical

Qualifications

• Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Experience preferred in ICU, inpatient and surgical settings.
• New graduates must be Acute Care NP/PA and have rotations in critical care and surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Respond to traumas and rounding on trauma, general surgery and SICU patients.
• Work with surgery residents as needed.
• Shifts are approximately 13.5 hours with sign-out in the morning and evening.
