Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services in Texas is hiring a full-time Trash Technician to collect, transport, and properly dispose of waste in hospital environments. The role requires physical effort and strict adherence to safety procedures. The job is based at Ascension Providence Hospital in Waco, with a schedule that includes afternoons and rotating weekends.

Pay ranges from $15.00 to $17.50 per hour. Applicants should have prior housekeeping experience and be able to follow written and oral English

Qualifications

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
