Compass Group USA is hiring a full-time Trash Technician at 101 Vitamin Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401. The role requires at least 1 year of experience, with a fixed pay rate of $16.50 per hour.

You will collect, transport, and dispose of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols. Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment as needed, identifying hazards, and performing additional duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Summary: Collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.


• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.


• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.


• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.


• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
