Job summary

ESFM® USA in Rockville, VA is hiring a sanitation technician responsible for collecting, transporting, and disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials in accordance with safety protocols. The role supports site operations and requires physical stamina.

Shifts are Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday, with a day or night schedule; training during startup may include Monday–Friday hours. Benefits include a retirement plan and health insurance options.

Schedule

Employees will be assigned to a Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday shift, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM (days) or 7:00 PM–5:30 AM (nights). During the initial site startup and construction clean phase, all team members will work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM before transitioning to their assigned schedule.

Pay

Fixed Pay Rate: $14.50 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned and properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to walk, stand, and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
