Job summary

Woodbury High School seeks a dynamic Trap Team Head Coach to lead a youth program, develop coaching staff, and build a comprehensive program aligned with the school’s mission. The role focuses on athlete development, character formation, and community engagement.

The ideal candidate has high school or collegiate coaching experience and a strong commitment to continuous improvement and transformational coaching.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in teaching and modeling character and responsible behavior.
• Positive, high energy, and committed.
• Partners well with parents, staff, community leaders, etc.
• View success not just as winning; but as helping team members to reach goals.
• Orientation toward continuous improvement and transformational coaching

Responsibilities

• Instruct student-athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training for individual and team success.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships between the Trap program and the local community.
• Provide leadership to staff and oversee program-wide elements.
• Work with Head Varsity Sport coach and Athletic/Activities Director on objectives and performance.
