Compass Health Network is seeking a Full Time Transporter for the Wellbeing Center in Clinton, MO. The role provides safe, timely transportation for clients, requiring reliability, professional conduct, and a calm demeanor on the road.

You will follow all traffic laws, plan efficient routes, maintain vehicles, complete inspections, and communicate with the Wellbeing Center team. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and a Missouri Class E driver's license is required at hire.

Qualifications

  • High School/GED preferred.
  • At least one-year experience in customer service or health-related field preferred.
  • Experience with management of transportation programs preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport clients, following all traffic laws and safety procedures.
  • Plan efficient pick-up and drop-off routes for maximum efficiency.
  • Keep agency vehicles clean, fueled, and properly maintained.
  • Complete routine vehicle inspections and maintenance logs.
  • Maintain professional, respectful communication with passengers and staff.
  • Respond calmly to emergencies or crises, offering support as needed.
  • Support Wellbeing Center operations, including assisting with day-to-day needs and conflict resolution when necessary.
  • Communicate updates regarding members with supervisors and staff as appropriate.
  • Work in various weather conditions and flexible scheduling situations.
  • Follow all agency guidelines regarding van use, documentation, and confidentiality.

NEW Full Time Transporter - Wellbeing

Department: Wellbeing Center

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Clinton - Community Drive. Building 1

Reporting To: Destiny Gilmore

Compensation: $18.50 / hour

Drive Change in Your Community as a Transporter for Our Wellbeing Center

Schedule: Split Shift-6:00am-10:00am & 2:00pm-6:00pm. 40 hours weekly.

This is more than just a driving job-you'll be an important part of our Wellbeing Center team, helping individuals access the care and support they need.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • High School/GED preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to possess cognitive, organizational, and emotional maturity to deal effectively with multiple stressors required
  • At least one-year experience in customer service or health-related field preferred
  • Experience with management of transportation programs preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) preferred
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
  • Must have a valid Class E Missouri driver's license upon hire
