Job summary

Miller's Health Systems in Walkerton, Indiana is seeking a friendly Van Driver/Transporter to support patient appointments and off-site activities. You will transport residents in a company van, ensuring safe, punctual and compassionate service.

This part-time role offers $16.00 per hour. Ideal candidates have a valid driver2s license with a clean driving record and good communication skills; healthcare experience is preferred. All applicants complete pre-employment screening and orientation.

Qualifications

• Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening.
• Able to pass physical examination given in behalf of gainful employment within the facility.
• Satisfactorily pass through required orientation and training.
• Be able to follow written and/or verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to medical appointments in a company van.
• Transport residents to off-site activities and events as needed.
• Contribute to patient satisfaction by delivering safe and courteous transport.

As a Transporter - Van Driver at Miller’s, you play a key role in patient satisfaction and well-being. You are responsible for transporting residents to and from medical appointment and off-site activities in a company van.

You may be the ideal candidate if you:

• Have previous experience in healthcare/patient activities (preferred)


• Have good communication skills


• Possess a current driver’s license and good driving record


• Are passionate about delivering excellent customer service


• Are professional in appearance and behavior
