MUSC Health Florence Medical Center is seeking a PRN Transporter to safely and efficiently transport patients throughout the campus and support moving equipment. The role also includes operating the employee shuttle and golf carts to move patients between parking areas and the hospital.

Requires a High School Degree or equivalent, 0–6 months of experience, BLS, and a valid South Carolina driver’s license. This is a PRN, hourly position at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center.

Job Description

Transporter reports to the Division Operations Manager and operates under general supervision. This role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transport of patients throughout the MUSC campus while maintaining a high standard of patient care. Additionally, this position supports the movement and positioning of essential medical equipment, including wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, beds, and related items, within the hospital.

This position will also operate the hospital employee shuttle, transporting employees safely and efficiently between a designated local parking lot and the hospital. The Transporter will frequently operate golf carts to safely transport patients between designated parking areas and the hospital.

Education: High School Degree or Equivalent Work

Experience: 0–6 months

Licenses/Certificates: BLS required; valid South Carolina driver's license required
