Job summary

Medical City Decatur, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a PRN Transporter to support patient logistics in a busy hospital environment.

The role involves maintaining records, assisting with scheduling and payroll, and coordinating with staff, patients, and physicians. Prior hospital or office experience is preferred, with BLS due within 30 days of start date.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support required within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous hospital or office/business experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Maintains logs, records, files and databases and generates reports
• Coordinates and/or assists with scheduling, payroll, productivity, inventory, ordering, charging, patient transport, and departmental cleaning
• Maintains off-site storage areas and interacts with patients and physicians
• Assists with performance improvement and performs related duties as assigned.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under general supervision, the Administrative Sec/Tech maintains logs, records, files and databases, prepares, and generates reports, coordinates and/or assists with scheduling, payroll, productivity, inventory, ordering, charging, patient transport, and departmental cleaning, maintains off-site storage areas, interacts with patients and physicians, assists with performance improvement, performs related duties as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Graduate / GED
• Previous hospital and/or office/business experience desired.
