Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO is seeking a Patient Transporter PRN to support patient movement, equipment delivery, and specimen transport around the hospital. You will shuttle patients, comfort families, and assist clinical staff while upholding safety and service standards.

This on-site PRN role offers comprehensive benefits through HCA Healthcare. A high school diploma is preferred, and BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Saving (BLS) Required within 90 days of hire.

Our Transporters assist with the movement of patients, equipment, supplies in and around the hospital. What You Will Do In This Role:

• You will safely lift patients on and off beds and transport them safely to and from special service and treatment areas using wheelchairs or moveable beds.
• You will comfort patients and their families by offering support and encouragement.
• You will deliver equipment and supplies to assigned treatment areas and patient care areas.
• You will pick up and deliver laboratory specimens.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Saving (BLS) Required with 90 days of hire.
