Job summary

Winchester Medical Center is seeking a Patient Transporter to move patients by stretcher, wheelchair, or cookie chair and to assist with related duties within the facility.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a BLS Certification (AHA Healthcare Provider). Prior healthcare experience is preferred, with strong documentation and communication skills essential for excellent patient service.

• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required
• Previous healthcare experience preferred
• Ability to transport patients in wheelchairs, stretchers, or cookie chairs required

• Ability to use handheld electronic devices/computers required
• Excellent documentation skills required
