The following describes the major elements and requirements of the position and is not an all-inclusive list of responsibilities, duties, or skills. The Radiology Transporter is responsible for transporting patients to and from the Radiology Department. Additional duties include, but are not limited to:
The Radiology Transport/Aide should demonstrate adequate knowledge of radiology terminology, good telephone etiquette, and the ability to greet patients and visitors politely. Provides clerical support using telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System), and runs errands throughout the facility.
