Job summary

Baptist Health in Paducah, KY, is hiring a Transporter full time to support radiology and other areas, including Saturday through Tuesday shifts with 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and holiday rotation.

You will transport patients safely using wheelchairs, movable beds, or stretchers, ensure proper gowning for exams, and maintain a positive, professional atmosphere while coordinating transfers to testing, admissions, and discharges.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
• Recent experience in a health care setting is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from diagnostic and treatment areas according to schedule.
• Transfer patients safely via wheelchair, movable bed, or stretcher.
• Ensure patient is properly dressed or gown for examination.
• Coordinate transport to and from testing, admissions, and discharge.
• Provide a positive and professional atmosphere for patients.
