Tenet Healthcare's DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital is seeking a Laboratory and Clinical Technician to support patient transport and specimen delivery within the hospital. The role involves assisting with patient transfers by stretcher or wheelchair and handling patient charts and materials as required.

Flexibility in shift rotation and a focus on accuracy, safety, and teamwork will help ensure smooth operations and quality patient care across departments.

Job Summary

Under general supervision, and according to established policies and procedures, performs transporter duties which may include, but are not limited to escorting and/or transporting patients within the hospital. Escorts patients by stretcher, wheelchair or bed for treatment, testing, admitting, discharge and intra-hospital transfers. Delivers on request specimens, patient charts and various other patient related materials to specified department or other hospital area. The Detroit Medical Center retains the right to create and revise all job descriptions, at its sole discretion.
