Dewberry is seeking a Transportation/Traffic Engineer for our Dallas, TX office. Responsibilities
  • Task management of transportation design projects.
  • Roadway design.
  • Monitor budgets and schedules.
  • Assist with and collaborate with team members on the marketing of new projects.
  • Interface with clients.
  • Collaborate with other Dewberry offices on design projects.
  • Prepare work zone traffic control plans (i.e. transportation management plans).
  • Prepare signing and pavement marking plans and traffic signal plans as well as perform traffic analyses.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • PE required.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in traffic/transportation engineering.
  • Experience in the design of highways and roads.
  • Experience preparing transportation management plans and temporary traffic control plans.
  • Experience using MicroStation.
  • Experience using traffic analysis software such as Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS and SIDRA desired.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
  • Task management or project management experience preferred.
  • Design-build experience desired.
