Job summary

Glanbia Nutritionals, Inc. in Gooding, Idaho, seeks a Transportation Team Leader to dispatch and support drivers, maintain routes, and help ensure timely milk and related product pickups and deliveries to Glanbia plants.

You will manage driver log books, coordinate schedules, and work with Logistics to optimize capacity while upholding safety and quality standards. On-site role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred in a transportation-related field or two years of supervisory or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, write and interpret instructions, memos, diagrams and schedules.
• Strong communication skills to present information to customers and employees.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects and follow safety procedures.
• Basic computer skills including email, word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch and manage company drivers to support safe, efficient transportation operations.
• Maintain driver routes and ensure milk pick-up and delivery stay on schedule.
• Complete work orders and manage driver log book compliance.
• Maintain truck capacity to haul milk, cheese and whey; coordinate with Logistics as needed.
• Field calls from dairymen and support schedule adjustments.
