Job summary

Iteris is seeking a Transportation Systems Program Engineer to support the North Carolina DOT TSMO Program. The role is on-site at the North Carolina DOT Statewide Traffic Management Center in Raleigh, NC and focuses on program support, data analysis, strategic planning, and documentation.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required, with an Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred, and a minimum of 3 years in traffic management or ITS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Traffic Incident Management, Traffic Management, TSMO, ITS, Traffic Engineering, or Transportation Design and Planning.
• EIT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support TSMO program for North Carolina DOT.
• Review and analyze TSMO performance data; strategic planning and program implementation support.
• Oversee TIM related contracts and manage multiple projects; develop guidance documents and training curricula.
• Produce documents and training curriculum development; communicate with client.
