Schedule: Full Time

Shift : Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

The role you'll contribute:

The Transportation Supervisor who under the general direction of the Director(s), has responsibility and accountability for directing all activities related to transportation of patients. Responsible for personnel, environmental/material control, and supervising all activities of the transportation department. Coordinates operating activities with other departments and centers as necessary. Fills in for the Center Manager or Assistant Manager in their absence. Must be able to be "on-call" for all transportation issues.

Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. This position actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Manages day-to-day operations of the transportation department to ensure efficient and timely patient transport.

Recruits, staffs, orients, trains, disciplines, and evaluates personnel in accordance with personnel policy and employee relations laws.

Reviews employee time and attendance and monitors staffing, turnover, overtime, and absenteeism.

Develops and implements annual budget, manages costs, and oversees accounts payable for the transportation department.

Ensures compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and accrediting bodies.

Coordinates operating activities with other departments and centers as necessary.

The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed:

High School Grad or Equivalent

3 years safe record with appropriate licensing

6 months of supervisor experience in the department and/or AdventHealth

Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in management and/or AdventHealth Centra Care operations
