Job summary

Morales Beverage Group in Houston, TX, is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee daily transportation operations, lead a team of drivers, plan routes, and ensure safety compliance. The role reports to the Transportation Manager and involves cost control, fleet management, and customer service to support a high-volume beverage distribution network.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old and legally eligible to work in the US.
High School diploma or GED preferred.
1-3 years of warehouse experience is a plus.
1-3 years of leadership experience required.
1-3 years of experience with routing, ERP, or WMS systems required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word is preferred.
Hold a valid Class A or B driver’s license in Texas.

Responsibilities

Team supervision: lead drivers and transportation staff with coaching and development.
Route planning and optimization to ensure timely, cost-efficient deliveries.
Ensure compliance with DOT, safety standards, and company policies.
Fleet management: oversee vehicle maintenance & inspections.
Customer service: monitor delivery performance and address issues.
Budgeting and cost control: track expenses and identify savings.
Reporting and analysis: produce transportation metrics for management.
Problem resolution: handle emergencies and disruptions promptly.
