Scott Valley Unified School District is seeking a full-time Bus Driver to manage the transportation operations for the district. Under direction of the Superintendent, Transportation Supervisor manages, supervises and coordinates the day-to-day operation and maintenance of SVUSD Transportation Department; Requires flexibility, adaptability, organization, maintain complex record keeping and record management, self-motivated ability to work independently in an effective manner, and address and resolve concerns.
Bus Driver Requirements***High school graduation or equivalent***Class A or B license endorsed for school bus and passenger transportation***California Special Driver Certificate * (School Bus) validated by the CHP - District will pay for bus driver trainingThe course shall include at least 20 hours of classroom instruction in, but not limited to, all units of the Instructor’s Manual for California’s Bus Driver’s Training Course. The course shall also include at least 20 hours of behind-the-wheel training in all sections of the Instructor’s Behind-the-Wheel Guide for California’s Bus Driver’s Training Course***A Medical Examination / Medical Examiner’s Certificate***First Aid/CPR Certification***Department of Justice fingerprint clearance through the CHP***Pass mandated alcohol / controlled substances testsEducationAA Degree, preferred
