Job summary

Winebow is seeking a logistics supervisor to oversee delivery routes and driver coverage in a dynamic warehouse environment. The role emphasizes timely route execution, payroll tasks, driver audits, and safety compliance under the Transportation Manager’s guidance.

Ideal candidates bring supervisory/logistics experience and a valid driver's license (CDL preferred). The position requires working in-office days, with responsibilities spanning training, inspections, and cross-functional liaison

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education preferred.
• One year of supervisory experience in a logistics role.
• Three to five years of experience as a truck driver.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all routes are delivered in a timely manner.
• Manages coverage of drivers, vacations, and absences.
• Monitors driver performance and reports disciplinary issues.
• Trains staff on vehicular safety policies and procedures.
• Performs payroll submissions and conducts performance appraisals.
• Completes scheduled driver audits for drivers in the territory.
• Maintains fuel receipts and logs, and handles monthly billing.
• Keeps error logs for delivery, warehouse, and sales.
• Acts as liaison between drivers and sales consultants.
• Recruits and trains new drivers; DOT New Driver criteria.
• Fills in as emergency back-up for routes when needed.
• Ensures DOT/FMCSA compliance with Transportation Manager guidance.
• Performs spot vehicle inspections and reports findings.
