Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid Ohio State Operator's License and be able to operate fleet vehicles.
• Must be able to pass the One Lincoln Park insurability check.
• Must be able to lift, bend, twist and assist with package deliveries, groceries, walkers and wheelchairs.
• An effective communicator who can professionally communicate verbally (including using a two-way radio system), and written form including emails, etc.
• Demonstrate computer proficiency, including regular use of email, Microsoft Office applications, and the capacity to learn and operate department GPS-tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily activities of the dispatching/scheduling runs in the department by dispatching drivers and operating One Lincoln Park vehicles as needed.
• Review weekly transportation logs and make staffing recommendations for transportation and front offices, assisting with scheduling vehicle maintenance and car washes.
• Collect information from dispatch sheets to assist with monthly reporting.
• Perform safety-related tasks and assist in investigating incidents involving the transportation fleet.

In addition to providing oversight of the transportation team by ensuring consistent, efficient operations across dispatching, scheduling, payroll administration, and daily supervision, responsibilities also include following safety and quality procedures, maintaining a safe working environment, and working collaboratively with other team members.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TRANSPORTATION SUPERVISOR

As a Transportation Supervisor, you coordinate the daily activities of the dispatching/scheduling runs in the department by dispatching drivers and operating One Lincoln Park vehicles as needed. You ensure the department is efficient by reviewing weekly transportation logs and make staffing recommendations for transportation and front offices, assisting with scheduling vehicle maintenance and car washes, and collecting information from dispatch sheets to assist with monthly reporting.

You take safety seriously by performing functions including responding to emergencies in the building according to internal policies and procedures, ensuring the front offices are maintained in a clean and orderly manner, and assisting in investigating incidents that may involve One Lincoln Park transportation fleet. You interact with our residents and demonstrate customer service by performing valet services for both One Lincoln Park residents and guests, and assisting with package delivery or special deliveries during peak periods. You are a supportive leader who assists employees in front offices by providing training/coaching, relieving breaks and lunches, and ensuring accuracy of payroll administration.

Our transportation and front office are fast-paced environments, and you know how to plan ahead and stay on top of your tasks. You communicate effectively with your team and our residents, always maintaining a high level of professionalism and respect. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A TRANSPORTATION SUPERVISOR

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A TRANSPORTATION SUPERVISOR

This full-time position works 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday-Friday with occasional weekend and evening availability.
