Job Summary/Objective

A Transportation Specialist is responsible for coordinating and managing the logistics of transportation services. This role involves planning and optimizing transportation routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures, and maintaining communication with all drivers.

Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities

• Recording Daily Mileage.
• Checking fluids in vehicles, including keeping the vehicle fueled to a half tank or more.
• Keeping vehicles clean, vacuumed, and washed.
• Ensuring proper equipment for hospital pickups (leg extenders, O2 tanks, wheelchairs).
• Tracking daily schedules, looking for updates, and reading notes for drives.
• Flexibility to adapt to unexpected scheduling changes.
• Resident interaction and communication.
• Maintaining high safety and efficiency standards.
