You will serve as a Transportation Specialist within any Regional Office of the Office of Pipeline Safety. Conducts safety oversight inspections of a rapidly changing industry to increase compliance with Federal pipeline safety standards by gas operators and liquid carriers at all types of pipeline facilities transporting natural gas and hazardous liquids.
For the 2101 series, specialized experience that demonstrates a knowledge of the transportation function(s) of the position to be filled is required.

GS-09 Qualification: On Experience, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-07, including:
GS-09 Qualification: On Education alone, you must have 2 years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree or a master's or equivalent graduate degree. Alternatively, a combination of graduate education and experience qualifies. Support this with your resume and transcripts.
GS-11 Qualification: On Experience, at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to GS-09, including:
GS-11 Qualification: On Education alone, 3 years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. A combination of education and experience also qualifies, supported by your resume and transcripts.
GS-12 Qualification: On Experience, at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to GS-11, including:
