Job description

My client has an very unique opportunity for an experienced transportation design engineer to combine their passion for design with their experience and love for related software design applications. This role serves as a statewide specialist to support the organization's drainage and utilities software programs.

About the Role

This position is in charge of components and templates for custom drainage and utilities design libraries and the coordination and development of drainage and utilities software training programs for staff and related engineering organizations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the statewide specialist responsible for evaluating, testing, and improving drainage and utilities software.
• Develop workflows to enable information management for drainage systems and subsurface utilities.
• Serve as the statewide specialist in charge of cells, components, and feature definitions for custom drainage and utilities design libraries.
• Responsible for ensuring design codes and safety standards are incorporated into software programs correctly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
