Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Section Manager in North Dakota to lead production operations, manage multidisciplinary teams, and drive client-focused project delivery across highways, bridges, rail and transit initiatives.

You will oversee staff development, quality control, and marketing support while coordinating with national directors. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), and professional licensure as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead production section operations: staff development, profitability, morale, quality control, and marketing support.
• Act as Project Manager and oversee production on projects.
• Oversee section staff and technical services; coordinate with other sections.
• Contribute to marketing planning, proposals, and interviews.
• Engage with industrial/public clients in marketing and project delivery.
• Ensure work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated via the project management system.
• Implement and monitor company policy.
• Select, train and manage technical personnel.
• Manage multidiscipline teams.
• Collaborate with National Directors and marketing staff on local and national efforts.
• Perform other duties as needed.
