POSITION SUMMARY: Assist in daily operations of the transportation department to ensure associate and guest satisfaction. Train all associates in all aspects of transportation while maintaining a high level of hospitality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Train transportation staff, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to safety protocols.
  2. Provide ongoing support to transportation staff to ensure they deliver outstanding service.
  3. Implement and enforce safety measures and protocols to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
  4. Monitor and analyze transportation performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies.
  5. Maintain and manage transportation vehicles, ensuring cleanliness, good condition, and regulatory compliance.
  6. Collaborate with department managers to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve transportation issues promptly.
  7. All other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in transportation or logistics, preferably in hospitality or customer service.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of local transportation regulations and safety standards.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Experience: 2+ years.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: To and from Big Cedar transportation office.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Computer work: Occasionally.
  • Walking: Regularly.
  • Sitting: Regularly.
  • Standing: Regularly.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.: Occasionally.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Transportation vehicles.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT: Performs duties within scope of general company policies and procedures. Uses judgment to adapt broad guidelines to achieve results. Regular exercise of independent judgment is required.

MANAGEMENT LEVEL: Not applicable.
