Job summary

American National Logistics, Inc. is seeking a motivated Transportation Recruiter to join our team in Texas.

You will recruit and qualify Company Drivers and Owner/Operators, create and post advertisements, and coordinate onboarding and orientation logistics for drivers. You will maintain open communication with applicants and new hires, working closely with Operations, Safety, Payroll and Management to meet staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting drivers is preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT safety and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication, organization and follow-up abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional and dependable when interacting with drivers and applicants.
• On-call availability to assist applicants and drivers 24/7.

NOW HIRING: TRANSPORTATION RECRUITER

We are looking for a motivated, organized, and people-oriented Transportation Recruiter to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Recruit and qualify Company Drivers and Owner/Operators.
• Create and post job advertisements on job boards, social media, and other recruiting sources.
• Conduct applicant follow-up and coordinate the hiring/onboarding process.
• Coordinate driver orientation, including travel, hotel, transportation, and meals.
• Maintain communication with applicants and new hires throughout the recruiting process.
• Work closely with Operations, Safety, Payroll, and Management to meet driver staffing needs.
• Support driver retention by assisting current drivers with questions and concerns.
• Help coordinate driver appreciation and recognition programs.
• Prepare recruiting activity and expense reports.
• Maintain driver records and process changes involving pay, classification, insurance, fuel cards, and other driver-related needs.

Qualifications

• Previous transportation, trucking, logistics, or driver recruiting experience preferred.
• General understanding of DOT regulations and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Must be dependable and professional when working with drivers and applicants.
• 24/7 on-call availability for applicants and drivers is required.
