Job summary

Kaw Valley Engineering, Inc. is seeking a transportation-focused Project Manager to lead highway, roadway, and municipal infrastructure projects from design through construction.

Multiple offices are available (Lenexa, KS, Kansas City, MO, and other KS locations). You will manage projects end-to-end, coordinate with clients and agencies, oversee design and permitting, and mentor junior staff to deliver high-quality transportation solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering.
• PE license (or near to obtaining).
• 10+ years of transportation engineering experience.
• Experience with DOT standards, roadway design, and permitting.
• Strong client-facing and project leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation projects from start to finish.
• Serve as main point of contact for clients and agencies (KDOT, local municipalities).
• Oversee design, plans, specs, and permitting.
• Keep projects on schedule, within budget, and moving forward.
• Coordinate internal teams and mentor junior staff.
