Job summary

AECOM seeks a Transportation Project Manager to lead civil transportation projects in our Louisiana region. The role manages planning, design, and delivery of highways, drainage, and related infrastructure while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

The position requires a strong background in transportation engineering, with 8+ years of experience and a PE license preferred. Travel and mentoring responsibilities are included in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Minimum BA/BS with 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience/education.
• PE license (Mississippi) or ability to obtain; project leadership required.
• Experience delivering transportation design projects and PS&E work.
• Ability to mentor staff and manage subconsultants on multidisciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, design, and management of civil transportation projects.
• Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, and internal teams to meet scope, budget, and schedule.
• Provide governance, risk management, and QA/QC across projects.
• Lead proposals, interviews, and business development efforts with LADOTD.
