Base pay range

$91,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

We’re currently looking for an outstanding Transportation Project Manager to join our team!

• As our Transportation Project Manager (or Senior Project Manager) in Rochester Hills, MI, you’ll work with a dynamic department as you lead and mentor the team through challenging roadway projects. You will monitor budgets and progress with a strong focus on profitability.
• This position requires an energetic, self-directed engineer/manager to supervise and perform engineering work relating to the design and construction of civil transportation projects. You will determine the scope of the work involved and plan, conduct, and supervise the engineering work of the project team. The successful candidate must enjoy solving engineering problems and challenges in a collaborative environment while managing financial budgets, schedules, and maintaining client satisfaction. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward building relationships are a must.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineering (PE) License
• At least 8 years of practical highway engineering design experience, including MDOT project experience, with a minimum of 5 years of project management experience

Typical Duties And Responsibilities

• Work with established clients
• Develop project criteria, schedules, and budgets
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians
• Manage projects from preliminary studies and engineering through final design and construction documents for bidding
• Lead the development and design of new projects from beginning to end
• Maintain existing client relationships
• Assist in the development of new clients and opportunities
