Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Transportation Project Manager to join our Middleton/Madison, Wisconsin team. You will lead multidisciplinary teams delivering roadway, highway, and intersection projects for WisDOT and local agencies.

This role focuses on planning through final design and construction support, balancing technical excellence with client expectations, budgets, and schedules. As a trusted partner, you will develop delivery strategies, mentor staff, and help grow AECOM's

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus 8 years of related experience or equivalent
• Experience managing transportation projects from planning through construction
• Experience with WisDOT and local agencies
• PE license in Wisconsin or ability to obtain
• Strong skills in scope, budget, schedule, QA/QC, risk, and financials
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate disciplines

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of transportation projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams delivering roadway, highway, and intersections.
• Serve as primary client contact with WisDOT, counties, and municipalities.
• Develop work plans, budgets, schedules, staffing, risk registers, and QA procedures.
• Oversee design deliverables, reports, estimates, and documentation.
• Coordinate roadway, traffic, bridge, drainage, and environmental disciplines.
• Monitor performance, manage risks, and report progress to clients and leadership.
• Support contracts, scope, changes, invoicing, and financial performance.
• Identify opportunities for new projects and client engagement.
