Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers in Fort Myers, FL seeks a Project Manager to lead strategic, technical, and managerial efforts on complex engineering programs. You will mentor teams, manage schedules and budgets, and drive client satisfaction while supporting firm-wide growth.

The role requires strong leadership across transportation, roadway, drainage, and structural projects, plus business development for pursuits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
P.E. license in the state(s) required to support project work.
Minimum 6 years of relevant engineering and project management experience.
Proven ability to mentor staff and supervise teams.
Strong business development, communication and leadership skills.
Ability to manage shifting priorities and multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

Serve as principal client contact to build long-term partnerships.
Plan, execute, and deliver multiple complex projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Develop and negotiate project scopes, budgets, schedules, proposals, and contracts.
Mentor and develop Project Managers and technical staff.
Oversee staffing and resource allocation across assignments.
Review and approve technical deliverables for compliance with standards and client requirements.
Support business development through pursuits, RFQs, and proposals.
