Orion Engineers, PLLC (Orion) is seeking a Transportation Project Engineer focused on infrastructure and the transportation industry to join our growing firm. You will work with industry leaders on a variety of transportation engineering projects while gaining exposure to project accounting, client service, marketing, and business development.

The role involves plan preparation, design tasks, and coordination with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis on highway design and transportation engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure for Illinois is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Assist in plan preparation, quantity calculations, and design efforts for transportation projects.
• Ensure accuracy of engineering design and adherence to budgets and schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and support proposals and business development.
• Prepare environmental and other administrative reports for permits.
