Job summary

The Walsh Group in Asheville, NC is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Transportation Division. You will document control, coordinate daily activities with the project team, and assist with estimating and procurement to drive on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in construction or related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Internship, co-op, or prior work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.).
• Assist and support project team with daily project coordination.
• Procurement of construction materials.
• Quality control and quality assurance checks.
• Coordinate subcontractors.
• Survey and project layout.
• Take weekly progress photos for reports.
• Manage construction equipment.
• Oversee safety management.
• Assist with project estimating.
