The Transportation Procurement & Pricing Manager leads pricing analysis, carrier sourcing, and commercial evaluation for trucking and rail transportation across North America. This position develops data-driven recommendations that balance cost, service, capacity, and risk to support competitive pricing and effective sourcing decisions. Working closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal, and transportation providers, the Manager independently leads assigned pricing and sourcing workstreams from market analysis and bid development through negotiation, implementation, and performance review. The Manager serves as a subject matter expert, presents recommendations to senior stakeholders, and reports to the Team/Group Leader for overall direction, priorities, and key decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Transportation Pricing Strategy & Market Analysis
• Develop pricing and sourcing strategies for assigned transportation lanes, services, and business opportunities based on market conditions, cost structures, capacity, service requirements, and risk
• Analyze transportation rates, tariffs, market trends, seasonality, fuel costs, and capacity changes to identify pricing opportunities and anticipate market movements
• Establish target rates, cost benchmarks, and negotiation ranges using historical data, market intelligence, and financial analysis
