CDM Smith invites motivated students to join our Transportation Advisory Services Team as an intern. You will contribute to content creation for clients, including websites, videos, emails and social media, while supporting presentations and events.

This role offers exposure to transportation projects, client collaboration, and real-world communications challenges. Ideal candidates are pursuing degrees in Planning or related fields, possess strong writing skills, and demonstrate initiative.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Planning or related field.
• Enthusiasm, initiative and ability to meet deadlines; strong writing skills are essential.
• Self-starter with a willingness to contribute across the transportation team.
• Teamwork-first approach with eagerness to learn and take on challenging tasks.
• Strong organization and time management; proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support content creation including websites, videos, emails, social media content, presentations.
• Assist with meeting management such as task forces and client events.
• Help craft collateral explaining technical content for clients and stakeholders.
