Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Communications Intern to join our Transportation Advisory Services team. You will help deliver integrated communications products for transportation clients, including websites, emails, social content, presentations, and meeting management.

The ideal candidate is enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Planning or a related field, with strong writing abilities and proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is a plus.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Planning or a related field.
• Strong writing skills and ability to craft collateral for clients.
• Interest in transportation, environment, and infrastructure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with content creation for websites, emails, social media, and presentations.
• Support meeting management, including task forces and client events.
• Craft collateral explaining technical content for clients and stakeholders.
