Job summary

CDM Smith invites interns to join the Transportation Advisory Services team, working on content creation for transportation clients across websites, videos, emails, social media and presentations.

You will collaborate with project teams to deliver strategic communications, craft collateral explaining technical content, and assist in meeting management for task forces and client events, while developing professional writing and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Planning or a related field.
• Master’s Degree Preferred.
• Interest in transportation is preferred.
• Interest in public communications and writing is preferred.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign and Illustrator) and/or Canva a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist content creation for websites, emails, social posts and presentations for transportation clients.
• Help craft collateral explaining technical content for stakeholders and lay audiences.
• Support meeting management including task forces and client events.
