Job summary

A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT) is seeking a Transportation Project Manager with 8–12 years’ experience for Rockville Towson MD offices.

The role offers hybrid work 2–3 days per week and flexible work-from-home options. A PE in MD/VA/DC is required, with strong leadership, communication, and design management capabilities. Qualifications

• PE in MD, VA, or DC is required.
• 8–12 years’ experience in roadway, highway, and traffic control plan with project management.
• Proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline teams to deliver transportation design projects.
• Serve as liaison between client and project team and external agencies.
• Manage technical resources, subconsultants, and budgets.
• Prepare task proposals, establish project pricing and schedules.
• Develop and maintain project management plans and monthly progress reports.
• Lead client meetings and presentations; ensure quality control of submittals.
• Mentor junior staff and assist with production tasks as needed.
• Support business development and proposals with leadership.
