Job summary

Under light supervision you will collaborate with engineers, prepare surveys and studies, and review plans for compliance with local, state and federal laws. You may mentor junior staff and contribute to a progressive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban, Community or Regional Planning or related discipline.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Gather, compile and analyze transportation demographic, economic, land use and environmental data.
• Create basic to moderate complexity models for transportation systems.
• Prepare transportation surveys, exhibits and meeting materials to identify public concerns and facilitate input.
• Review proposed transportation project sites for alignment with plans and compliance with laws.
• Collaborate with engineers to research and resolve design issues; mentor junior staff.
