Job summary

Verdantas in Dublin, OH, is seeking a mid-to-senior Transportation Planner to advance safe, multimodal transportation systems for municipal, regional, and state agencies. You will work with engineers, GIS analysts, and other planners on data-driven analyses and public engagement.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree (or a Bachelor’s with 2+ years of experience) and are proficient in ArcGIS Pro/Online, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, Geography/GIS, or related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of professional transportation planning experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform research and data analysis for transportation planning projects, including multimodal and safety-focused studies.
• Assist with preparation of transportation plans and safety actions for municipal, regional, and state clients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of planners, engineers, and GIS analysts.
• Conduct GIS analyses and develop maps and layouts for planning documents and presentations.
• Plan and attend public engagement activities, including public meetings and workshops (~20% travel).
• Support senior staff with technical analysis, report prep, and coordination with agencies.
