Job summary

Verdantas, a leading environmental and infrastructure advisor, seeks a Planner II / Transportation Planner to advance multimodal transportation projects for municipal, regional, and state clients. You will collaborate with engineers, GIS analysts, and planners to produce plans, safety analyses, and public-engagement materials, with travel about 20%.

Candidates should hold a Master’s in Transportation Planning or related field (or BA with 2+ years), be adept with ArcGIS Pro/Online, Excel, and

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, Geography/GIS, or related field preferred.
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of professional transportation planning experience.
Experience with state/local government transportation planning.
Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online; strong data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

Perform transportation planning tasks for multimodal projects including active transportation and safety plans.
Prepare transportation and safety analyses, maps, and visuals for reports and presentations.
Collaborate with engineers, GIS analysts, and planners on interdisciplinary projects.
Support public engagement events and prepare meeting materials and summaries.
Assist with grant applications and reporting; monitor budgets and schedules.
