Job summary

SpartanNash Military is seeking a Transportation Supervisor in Oklahoma City to oversee daily transportation activity, scheduling, and compliance. The role requires coordinating dispatches, routing, and safety adherence while driving efficiency and service levels across the fleet.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, FMCSA knowledge, and strong communication skills, with proficiency in dispatch and routing software.

Qualifications

Minimum three years in transportation and/or supply chain operations.
Minimum one year in a supervisory or lead role.
Knowledge of FMCSA/CSA compliance and DOT requirements.
Ability to coordinate dispatching, routing and scheduling.
Experience with onboarding software and routing software.

Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day transportation activities within assigned areas.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues in transportation and logistics.
Manage driver schedules, routes and backhauls for efficiency and cost control.
Ensure DOT hours, breaks, and logs compliance; monitor FMCSA/DOT compliance.
Lead safety meetings and promote a safe, compliant work environment.
Maintain transportation KPI reporting and liaise with operations and sales teams.
