Job summary

The Cleveland Metropolitan School District seeks an Assistant Depot Manager of Transportation Operations to oversee its large routing network for 39,000 students. You will supervise bus drivers and a variety of staff, ensuring safe, efficient service and strong performance metrics.

Reporting to the Director of Transportation, you will drive process improvements, maintain records, and coordinate with unions and community partners to support the Cleveland Plan goals.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manages approximately 150 transportation staff including Bus Drivers and other staff.
• Monitors routes and recommends changes to improve efficiency and safety.
• Investigates transportation accidents or incidents and documents findings.
• Ensures compliance with laws, regulations, and district procedures.
