Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Transportation Operations Manager to oversee transportation operations across multiple sites in a defined region. You will drive process improvements, lead a team of Area Managers, and ensure safety, quality, and performance while meeting aggressive deadlines.

The role requires 3+ years of management experience, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), and flexibility to work varied hours including nights and weekends.

• Mentor, train and develop teammates for career progression and learning.
• Ability to develop and share best practices across the shifts and network.
• Travel up to 50% may be required.
• Candidates must be flexible to work a variety of hours as business demands, including overnight, weekends and holidays.

The Transportation Operations Manager has complete responsibility for Transportation Operations at a number of sites within a pre-defined region of the country. This position requires a candidate with the proven ability to drive process improvements and the ability to keep pace with our explosive growth while motivating others to meet the challenges of an extremely deadline-driven environment.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in: military, manufacturing, automotive, biotech, electronics, energy, instrumentation, machinery, defense/aerospace, medical, cosmetics, production, or distribution environments.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
